Celebrating 27 years of music, Albany’s signature free concert series premiered in the summer of 1990 with a performance by legendary folk artist Richie Havens, and has since grown into a staple of summer in the Capital Region. Showcasing a diverse lineup of big names, up-and-coming acts and the region’s most talented original artists, Alive at Five offers eight weeks of free, critically-acclaimed performances catering to nearly every taste. Returning to its roots on Broadway for the 2016 season, Alive at Five is the sound of summer in the Capital Region.

CDTA and the City of Albany will provide free Event Day Bus Passes for the dates of each Alive at Five concert to Albany County residents. Riders will be able to pick up passes at the Albany City Hall and additional locations throughout the city. The passes will be available from 10am-4pm on the Wednesday before each show, while supplies last. One pass per person; riders must present valid ID with an Albany County address and be able to identify the bands playing that week’s concert to be eligible for an Event Day Bus Pass.

Parking: $5 flat fee parking will be available at the Quackenbush Square Garage, 677 Broadway. Handicap parking is available at the Riverfront Garage at Broadway and Columbia Street. For more information on parking options, visit www.parkalbany.com.
